In the 1900's, four florists and nurseries found their home in this area. Much of the nursery stock planted during that time remains, as you can see by the many large & lovely tree canopys. The majority of the homes in Rosedale were built in the 1930's & 1940's, giving them an abundance of charm not found with newer construction. There is alot of known history about our area & this interesting information has been collected, researched, and written by one of our own Rosedale residents. This time of year, she occassionally does a walking tour of our neighborhood, explaining this extensive, fascinating information. Watch for a notice of the 'Rosedale Ramble' on our posted neighborhood calendar.
